We definitely nailed it. First day of training, we all looked like "lame gals" just playing around and taking no seriousness in football. Who know we'd actually reach our goals proudly presenting our own school in winning the first Futsal tournament in PRISAA 2014. Here's how our story goes.

How do I start? Hmm. Well this an incomplete photo of us training for the incoming PRISAA. Feeling the thrill as days go closer and closer. Endless training from 3 times week turned out to be an "everyday training." Run over here, run over there. "Kick the ball, shoot the ball! Find an open space.", the usual things you'd hear from our coach. Quite tiring but I lost weight surprisingly. Oops!
First tournament ever. A gateway experience to our upcoming PRISAA. You wouldn't want to know what happened in this tournament. Well, of course we lost. We tried. It was our first time but we learned a lot from our opponents. Skills we can't reach. Stamina, so much stamina. Man, I couldn't even run fast enough to chase and take the ball from our opponent. Well that's me standing as our goalie for Team B. Had my hand injured. Well, it was sad but a very fun experience for all of us.
The day came. That's all of us praying before our actual game. Everyone was afraid of course, especially me because our second game was between us, Assumption-Iloilo and the defending champions and all time star players, Central Philippine University. Coach decided to make me the goalie for that game. Well, I looked pale of course. Minutes before our actual game we all played "Pantintero." Calmed myself down, prayed so hard and just enjoyed playing for a while.
Who nailed it? We did! I SURVIVED. 3-0? Achievement! We nailed both of our games. We actually did it. We won! Until now, it's unbelievable. Well, all I can say is that we all thank both of our coaches (Coach Bob and Coach Kent.) We all couldn't have done it without all the motivations and inspirations we got. We all offer our medals to them. Every single one of it.
Integrated Meet. Wow. Leveling up. Well, that's practically half of our team plus 3 players who joined from Central Philippine University. We didn't make it but at least we experienced being in the Integrated. We were probably no match for the districts. Well, all I can say is we can come back to that competition again and this time we'll be better players. We will compete until we reach International meets (woah say what?) I still love my team, win or lose. All for one, one for all.
Ah. Well, that's it. The last photo for this post. FUTSAL GIRLS CHAMPION. Hope this post will inspire you to never give up. Ciao!
